An illustration to celebrate a Bulgarian traditional holiday called " Baba Marta " (Grandma March).
When 1st of March comes, people exchange martenici in order to wish one another health, happiness, fertility, and all the good things in the world.
A martenica can be a bracelet, a necklace, a brooche, a ring etc. made from white and red yarn.
The white meaning purity and happiness, and the red blood and life.
